Who is this crazy guy?
My name is
Jørg, I was born
in 1973 and I’m living in the middle of Germany, in the deep south-west of
East Germany.
People who knows me says, I’m crazy for NORWAY…And
that's
true!
    
My Slogan is
"ONLY NORWAY".
I like the countryside,
the people,
the
fishing, the weather. And I like the
norwegian
TRUCKS!
OK,
I'm not the only
one
who
like norwegian trucks.
And other people spent also every year their holidays there.
But:
I
live and die for
NORWAY!
Why does it is like it is I
would like
to
tell you. But I think that’s not the reason for these Websites.
In fact:
the
begin for this "Love for Norway" was a simply postcard in 1982.
My Grandparents got a card from friends they are spent their holidays in Norway.
I was 8 when I 've found this card...
Well, every year since 1991 I
spent my holidays in Norway. My Norway trips are an important fact in my life,
and so I will don’t change this.
Ok, may be one week in spring or autum in a
other country, but not my summer holidays. ONLY NORWAY!
Why I’m intrested in
trucks?
Every little boy is dreaming to became as a truck driver.
In my younger years I’ve moved
my head for every truck. This was the same in my first holidays in Norway 1991.
But there I have don’t think about to make truck fotos.
In middle of 90s I visited an
shop for mini railroads an mini trucks. So I’ve seen many mini trucks in scale
1:87 of different german producers
like HERPA or AWM.
From this point I’ve collect
trucks of European Transport companies.
Any day in 1997 I’ve got the
news of AWM. And there I’ve seen an Volvo FH 12 truck of “STIES”. In my
head: “STIES? Äääähm….is from Norway! Buy it”.
And this was the start
for collecting for only Norwegian mini trucks.
In September 2002 I
've built my first mini truck by myself….and other models are following.
